St. Patrick's Day Shenanigans
Updated: Mar 13, 2019
Céad míle fáilte (one hundred thousand welcomes) to the first newsletter for IrishBarsUSA!
Kevin & Pam are wondering “what’s the craic” for your St. Patrick’s weekend? Craic (pronounced crack) is a widely used expression in Ireland, used to ask “what’s happening” in reference to good times, entertainment, gossip, music, drinking, or any kind of good clean debauchery!
We’re going to help you have exciting craic to discuss over the water cooler on Monday by giving you a list of shenanigans available this weekend on this side of the pond. Sláinte!

http://www.shorteststpats.com/2018/04/dates-announced-for-st-paddys-2019/
Oh, the title alone makes this a parade like no other! It ends a weekend of Irish fun in Hot Springs! PS, for the runners out there, it includes a “ZeroK race” which is, of course, the shortest in the world!
Dublin, California
St. Patrick’s Day Celebration, Friday 3/15 - Sunday 3/17
https://www.dublin.ca.gov/293/St-Patricks-Day-Celebration
This “sister city” to Dublin, Ireland boasts to be the biggest Irish event on the west coast; with an estimated draw of 85,000 visitors it most likely is. Typical Irish fare, with an area of 200+ vendors and a pop up Irish tea cottage makes it a unique, all-weekend event.
Denver, Colorado
St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Saturday 3/16, begins at 9:30a
https://www.denverstpatricksdayparade.com/
A very traditional parade with a bit of a circuitous route; it is described as “a big snake which uncoils and returns from whence it came. Once again St. Patrick saves the day.”

Stamford, Connecticut
